Steam users are encountering a major roadblock during the Summer Sale. Many gamers are reporting encountering an HTTP Error 500 when trying to access their wishlists. This error signifies an internal server-side issue preventing the proper display of wishlist information.

The glitch appears to have struck around 11:30 AM PST on June 28, 2024. Complaints are pouring in from both the Steam app and the web version. Users attempting to access their wishlists are met with the HTTP Error 500 message.

Some resourceful gamers have discovered a workaround: copy the wishlist link from the address bar and open it in a different window or tab in incognito mode. However, logging in brings the issue back.

Steam developers are expected to address this HTTP Error 500 soon, allowing gamers to reclaim control of their wishlists and take advantage of sale deals.

In the meantime, users can:

  • Browse games by category.
  • Utilize the “recommendations” feature to discover games they might enjoy.
  • Postpone purchases until the issue is resolved.

We’ll continue monitoring updates from Steam and keep you informed when wishlists are back in action.
